I sympathise because I had the same sort of thing for the whole of December. Asthma, chest infection, which became pneumonia. Utter misery and you were on holiday, how awful. It does look an amazing place though. I love those cheeky racoons.
Lovely to find your blog. I' m just off to browse through some earlier posts.
Chloris

chlorishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02037607962980090244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6979477368757454916.post-53748069503328483602015-01-04T19:49:24.353+00:002015-01-04T19:49:24.353+00:00That is too bad you were sick during your vacation...That is too bad you were sick during your vacation. I've been sick for most of the holiday break, and I am also so ready to feel better and get something done! Looks like a lovely place for a holiday. I would have loved to watch all of the wildlife as well. I would have mixed feelings about the dolphins, too. It is always a shame when places do not have enough habitat for the comfort of the animals. Most zoos are like that, as well.Indiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14004102653896371835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6979477368757454916.post-62361434666486232432015-01-02T19:56:30.945+00:002015-01-02T19:56:30.945+00:00I think the huge leaves are of a Philodendron spec...I think the huge leaves are of a Philodendron speciosum and the purples are Setcreasea purpurea (a native of Mexico). No, dolphins in a hotel swimming pool are not my thing, but the Racoons are adorable, they really look like bandits. Most beautiful picture is of the Iguana.Janneke https://www.blogger.com/profile/11056916431881916066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6979477368757454916.post-43545119019925083992015-01-02T16:44:28.529+00:002015-01-02T16:44:28.529+00:00People encourage the animals by feeding them and t...People encourage the animals by feeding them and then blame the animal when it becomes a nuisance, S bit like laughing when a young child is naughty and then expecting them to suddenly realise as they are older that the same behaviour is no longer acceptable.

Must admit I'd feel like you about the dolphins.
